The Basque company Atten2 accepted the HP award for “Best Industrial Equipment for the Factory of the Future” at the 2020 edition of the Factories of the Future Awards 2020, now in its fourth edition, organised under the auspices of the Advanced Factories Expo & Congress, held from March 3 to 5 in Barcelona. The awards aim to foster and promote innovation in industrial automation and the implementation of Industry 4.0.
On the event's stage the Atten2 representatives receiving the accolade were Head of Marketing, Ion Grijalbo, and Head of Applications Engineering, Guillermo Miró, who thanked the congress's organisers and judging panel, as well as all the company's workers. "Without their hard work, effort and daily dedication, this award would not have been possible," they noted.
Atten2 managed to take the award in the “Best Industrial Equipment for the Factory of the Future” category, edging out the prestigious companies Weidmüller and Bosch Rexroth. The award is intended to recognise those innovative solutions that facilitate the implementation of production machinery and equipment in the field of the digitalisation and automation of industrial processes.
The awards acknowledge the work, efforts and leadership of companies, professionals, universities, technology centres and start-ups that have made a commitment to technology and the transformation of the industry to make it more competitive. More than 170 companies and projects submitted their candidacies for this edition of the awards.
This recognition comes at a very important time of growth for the Basque firm, and reaffirms its potential as a company dedicated to the development of innovative technological solutions and engineering services aimed at reducing clients' operational risks and monitoring their critical assets.
